Dear WMSHP Community,

From all of us at WMSHP leadership, we cordially invite you to join us as we bring pharmacists, pharmacy students, and technicians from across the DC-Metropolitan area together for a networking and educational opportunity to earn up to 4.0 Continuing Education (CE) credits!

We are proud to host this event on Saturday, November 7th at the MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) Auditorium (102 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20010) for a half-day of in-person education and networking that include:

Four CE topics hosted by physicians, pharmacists, and other care-team members (4 hours of CE total)
Continental breakfast and brunch provided
Pharmaceutical drug vendor exhibitions
Announcements and updates about exciting opportunities
Discounted WMSHP annual membership for non-members in attendance

Registration is now open and is free for members and students/residents! Non-members cost $20 for all CEs. There is a discount for members of DC-CCP. You can purchase online (preferred) or onsite via cash or check the day of the event.

*** Please note that a Parking Pass of $5 per vehicle must be purchased PRIOR to the event via the Registration Link to park in the NRH Blue Garage. ***

7 am - 8 am: Registration/Continental Breakfast/Exhibit Session

9 am - 10 am: Dr. Nicholas Streicher, MD, From Lab to Bedside: A Neurologist’s View of How New Therapies Reach Patients
10 am - 11 am: Brunch/Exhibit Session in Exhibition Hall
11 am - 12 pm: Dr. Indiran Pather, PharmD, Some Aspects of Pharmaceutics Relevant to Practicing Pharmacists
12 noon - 1 pm: Cameron Hartofelis, MA, MPH, LICSW/LCSW-C, APHSW-C, What Pharmacists Need to Know about LGBTQIA+ Health in 2026
1 pm - 1:15 pm: Closing remarks
1:15 pm - 2 pm: Networking/Exhibit Session

Parking and directions: Park in the “Blue” Parking Garage, located directly West of NRH. Exit the garage on the ground floor before proceeding to NRH. Enter NRH via the South entrance (under the portico), then go left and take the West elevators down to the Ground Floor. The Auditorium (G068) will be directly ahead. If you paid for a parking voucher you can pick it up at the sign-in table.
